特別表演嘉賓HotCha從香港來到溫哥華，當然是由我這位能說流利廣東話的情報員Cindy來訪問她們啦！雖然喜歡看美女的Eric嚷著要來，可是他的廣東話嘛… 由他訪問HotCha的話我擔心HotCha會以為他在講外語！

出席記者招待會的HotCha接受過本地傳媒的訪問後，也很有興趣嚐嚐當幕後情報員的滋味。她們要訪問的當然是我啦！不過那是開玩笑的啦，作為情報員我當然要了解一下跟我們十位Sunshine Boyz and Girlz同樣陽光氣息十足的HotCha來到溫哥華的感覺。

她們都說這邊的天氣和空氣都很好，Winkie還說這裡的三文魚十分好吃，有入口即溶的感覺。Crystal覺得這邊的人和工作人員十分nice和體貼，還不停問她們要不要喝水。Regen還向我們透露她覺得我們一位16歲的Sunshine Boyz十分可愛「靚仔」－－她是說我們的１號Alex嗎？

Our special performers HotCha has arrived in Vancouver all the way from Hong Kong. Eric was whinning to come here to see them, but too bad, he doesn’t speak Cantonese. I’m afraid that HotCha would think he’s speaking some foreign language if he comes interview them. Oh well, Eric, it’s alright, I have made this clip for ya.

And what’s funny is HotCha said that they are Sunshine Nation’s Insiders, and they were going to interview me! LOL. It was a joke, of course. As a REAL insider, I talked to them and asked them about their first impressions of Vancouver. Yes, this is their first time here.

They really like the weather here, and Winkie said she loves the local salmon coz it melts in your mouth! Crystal feels that the people here are very nice. And what’s more, Regen told us she thinks one of our Sunshine Boyz, the one who is 16,  is very cute. Hm? Isn’t she talking about #1 Alex?

這次我和Cindy和好，一同合作直擊Sunshine Boyz and Girlz親親小白鯨的情況。

話說那天記者會結束後，大會特別安排了10位Sunshine Boyz and Girlz前往溫哥華水族館 (Vancouver Aquarium)，探望剛出生不久的小白鯨(Baluga)。作為情報員的我和Cindy當然要追蹤的情況。

雖然天公有點不造美，一直在下著雨，可是十位充滿陽光氣息陽光學員仍然相當興奮，不時為小白鯨的出現大呼小叫。之後他們還近距離跟小白鯨合照呢！事後他們還充當起「小白鯨親善大使」，拿著小白鯨的娃娃公仔拍照。看他們拿著娃娃的樣子，還相當有童真的說！

That day after Sunshine Nation 2009’s press conference, I and Cindy followed the crew and the boyz + girlz to Vancouver Aquarium to meet the new born baluga. It was raining, but our boyz and girlz brought their sunshine spirit to the aquarium! After that, they had fun playing with the baluga plush dolls while our photographer took pictures of them and the baluga. It was fun! Watch the clip below for our report.

It was the day of full dressed rehearsal so that’s why everyone were all dressed up… of course I am not going to reveal too much so here are the 10 SUNSHINE BOYZ AND GIRLZ dressed in the uniform preparing for something! =)

The other people around the 10 SUNSHINE BOYZ AND GIRLZ are the crew. We all have different post in the show, such as lighting, video, front of house, dressing room, backstage, props, sounds, etc… I will be around the stage area while Eric will be helping out in the dressing rooms.

This was only the first rehearsal where they had to rehearsal the entire show in correct sequence and there are more in the next few days – before and on the day of the finale! Let’s all cheer for them! Add oil! Ganbatte! Aja aja fighting!

Hey, SSN09 Insider Eric is here! So yesterday was SUNSHINE NATION 2009 Talent Show and it was a blast! I have never seen so much screaming fans, and they are all here for me! LOL just joking… they are there to support our 10 Sunshine Boyz and Girlz. Technically the talent was the first time the general public can see our 10 Sunshine Boyz and Girlz in person, so everyone were kinda curious to see how they actually look like in person, and see what kinda talent they can bring to the table. The Talent Show started with a short catwalk in pairs, and then the 10 Sunshine Boyz and Girlz took turns to introduce themselves to the audience. They all improved so much since the first time I have seen them practicing this part. Self introduction is not just standing behind a microphone and talk pointlessly. First, you have to make the script engaging and persuade those who don’t know you personally to like you, and ultimately vote for you in the Brian Jessel BMW People’s Choice Award at our Sunshine Nation website! They all had a blast on stage and everyone loved them! I wish I am the one on stage making every girl in the audience falling in love with me…

Anyway… my main role at the Talent Show is to be a stage crew, so I had to keep going back and forth to get stuff and move stuff… we were fast, OK! But talking about fast, the speed of the 10 Sunshine Boyz and Girlz changing was even faster! After the aforementioned self introduction, they had to perform their talent. They were definitely speedy when it comes to changing from costume to costume, and some of the girls even managed to pull off a change in hair style! Amazing!!! I better ask Cindy, who was helping the girls getting changed, how things are done behind the scene. That aside, all 10 Sunshine Boyz and Girlz are definitely amazingly talented. Reika played “beast piano” (she said her friends gave her that name), Jeffrey played a classical x pop piece on the keyboard, while Basil played the keyboard and sang at the same time. Two of them stomped the stage with dance – Alex did Paso Doble and Ivy a hip-hop number. Grace and Angel mesmerized everyone with singing passionate ballets.  Iver and Jack both rocked the stage with electric guitar while Julia wowed the audiences with a classical piece with Pi-pa.

Besides bringing you the latest news as the SUNSHINE NATION Insider and helping out with moving props, I also got to perform! The guys (James, Kelvin, Felix, and Sam of AM1470 and myself) were the IN-BOYS and we had a little dance off against the GO-GIRLS (Mandy of AM1470, Huxiao, April, and Jessica of FM96.1, and Sunshine Girlz Champion 2008 Anna). We all had a blast! That’s all from the talent show, and we hope to see you all at the Finale on August 28^th! Every week, our Sunshine boyz and girlz follow their managers to O2 West Personal Fitness Studio, our official fitness consultant, to stay in shape. That is why when you get to see them in the finale, they all look gorgeous! I followed them to the studio last week, and wow, O2 West is definitely an international-standard studio! Many of their equipments are even iPod-Ready, so you get to listen to your favorite music while you are working out. What’s more, the studio has Wi-Fi, so I could even check the tweets on SSN’s official twitter.

剛剛聽到 FM96.1 《七點Zone了沒?》，主持人美女April跟帥哥杰拉德有提到加入Facebook page的消息喔! 沒錯了，加入Sunshine Nation的Facebook page是可以得到我們幕後情報員的最新消息。有人還問那個情報員是不是April呢! April很大聲的說: 「不是我啦! 」。然後她說現在要先賣個關子，遲一點就會公佈的說…

甚麼嘛，難道她真的知道我們的真正身份嗎?!

最近的確來了不少E-mail問關於幕後情報員的真正身份。… 好吧，大家那麼想知道，我就給大家一些提示吧! 兩名幕後情報員，一名男生跟一名女生。男生是FM96.1的一名帥哥DJ (是真的帥哥的帥哥哦!)，女生是AM1470的一名美女DJ (是真的美女的美女哦!)。大家再先猜猜吧!

We are Sunshine Nation’s insiders, so of course we monitor all sorts of news / info / gossips around us — including the shows on our two channels FM96.1 and AM1470! We listened to FM96.1’s show “7 Dian Zone Le Mei?” 7:00PM tonight and heard the hosts mention us!!! Woohoo! Ya, the hosts, April and Gerald reminded you guys to become a fan on our Facebook page and mentioned all the goodies you’ll get. Someone also asked April if she is the insider, and she said “no!”. April said the true identities of the insiders will be revealed “later”…. well, she sounded as if she really knows who we are. I doubt it.

It is true that we’ve received quite a bit of e-mails these few days asking about our identities. Alright, since you guys are really curious, let me reveal a little bit of hints: there are two insiders, one handsome (I mean it!) guy and one pretty (I mean it!) girl. The guy is a DJ at FM96.1, and the girl is a DJ at AM1470…

其實幕後情報員早在拍攝招募廣告的時候就已經出動了。為了追蹤那天的拍攝活動，我跟另一名情報員（是哦，有兩個！）一早就爬起來，９點鐘到達拍攝現場。那個是甚麼地方？這不能透露，反正看得出來，應該是一間學校吧。
The INSIDERS got on location of the Sunshine Nation 2009 television commercial (TVC) pretty early! We (yes there are TWO of us!) got up really early and were on location at 9am. Where were we? That we promised we can’t tell. But as you can see, it’s probably a school.

一來到就看到去年的Sunshine Boyz和Girlz已經打扮得美美帥帥的，這都是形像指導Brian和Barbara的功勞啦！。首先是他們在電視廣告一開始時對著鏡頭酷酷的講「Sunshine Nation Recruitment Begins!」的部份。可能是還很早的關係，他們都吃了不少NG的說 =.= 。不過沒關係，他們都很專業的完成了這部份的拍攝。看YingYing還笑得那麼開心！難道你還不感覺到Sunshine嗎?
Once we got there, we ran into last year’s Sunshine Boyz and Girlz and they looked mighty fine (thanks to the help of the SSN stylists Brian and Barbara)! The first thing our ’starz’ gotta do was to look cool and each said a word of the opening lines of the TVC, which was “Sunshine Nation Recruitment Begins!”. Maybe it was still early, it took a while to get the right take. Even though it took longer than expected, everyone was being very professional. Just take a look at YingYing! She looks so happy, can you feeeel the Sunshine?!

接著就是在戶外「啦啦隊」和各項高難度動作的場面啊！話說Kidi要抱起Anna來一個轉半身的動作。這個動作拍了很多次，導演才滿意呢。你看Anna都一副哭笑不得的樣子了。不過最後還是漂亮的完成了啦，出來的效果大家都很喜歡。
The next scene they gotta do was the Cheerleading scene with all sorts of tricks. Kidi had to pick up Anna and spin around and it was beautifully done! It took a couple of shots from different angles to get the perfect turn. After this shot, Anna’s got a huge red grip mark on her waist from Kidi! It definitely looks easier on camera!

之後他們移師室內，在體育館內拍攝像在Party的樣子。可能是還沒有吃午飯，剛開始的時候大家的表情都有點生硬哦。不過慢慢大家都進入狀態了，大家看起來都像玩得好開心的樣子。Dancer們還逐一走到中間跳起solo來，現場的氣氛相當高漲！
Then the whole crew moved indoor and filmed the street dancing scene in gymnasium. Everyone looked kinda stiff… cuz it’s almost lunch time and probably they got kinda tired from all the excessive jumping and turning and spinning from the previous shot! But eventually everyone got back in mood once we got the party started! Even the dancers took advantage of the hyperness and did some solo moves for the shot!

吃過午餐（大會提供的，很美味哦）之後，一眾美女便要在圖書館裡跳舞了。甚麼？在圖書館？跳舞？對啊，這樣才能突顯「舞動校園」的感覺啊！你會有機會在學校裡看到漂亮的美眉在圖書館裡笑容滿面的跳舞嗎？不會吧？所以就要看好Sunshine Nation的電視廣告了！不過拍攝之前Sunshine Girlz們看起來都正經八百的。當然了，她們都要小心聽好擔任舞蹈編排的YingYing老師的指示，把每一個動作完美演繹。
After lunch, the girls had a head start with the dancing scene in the library. Yup you read it, dancing in the library, that’s right! This is how we showcase the theme of  Sunshine Nation 2009.  We bet you rarely see pretty (pretty and hot) girls dancing in the library! Make sure you check out the TVC to see how we did! But before the camera started rolling, Anna, Mayanne, and all the dancers were very attentative to our choreographer YingYing’s demonstration. It takes a little more to get that perfect shot!

最後一個場景了！Sunshine Boyz和Girlz穿起特別訂造的「校服」，一字排開酷酷的走在走廊上。氣勢很強是吧？
And here we are onto the last scene! Kidi, Mayanne, Anna, and YingYing put on some very stylish school uniform that showed off their personal style. Can you feel their fierceness when they strutted down the corridor? Oh they were fierceeeee!!!

根據我情報員的資料，Sunshine Nation的Facebook宣傳頁遲些還會有些「好康」 （唔～即係香港所講既 「著數」） 送給加入成為「粉絲」的朋友們…。到底是甚麼呢？不管了，先加入再說吧！待我有消息會即時向大家報料…

情報員還有一個建議：　你可以在Facebook宣傳頁上傳你漂亮／帥帥的照片！說不定你會找到你的提名人呢…

As you may have noticed, Sunshine Nation has created an official Facebook page this year. There are latest updates, interesting photos and videos inside. What’s more, you can interact with other fans. So start your discussion topics there and let the fun begins! Post your pretty/handsome… or pretty handsome pictures too — who knows — maybe you’ll find your nominator there!

I’ve also heard that there will be “surprised goodies” for those who join the Facebook page too. Dunno much details about that yet, will keep you updated once I gather more info. See you there.
